Friedrich von Krusenstiern served for 20 years as General Counsel & Secretary for the Coface North America companies of the French based and publicly traded multinational commercial trade credit Insurer and business information provider COFACE SA. In that capacity he was responsible for the legal affairs of four business lines in the USA and Canada, including commercial trade credit insurance, business information, factoring and commercial debt collections. Fred advises clients on insurance regulatory and compliance matters and on drafting and negotiating policies and reinsurance agreements in the commercial and trade credit and political risk insurance space. He has considerable experience advising clients on standard and manuscripted trade credit insurance policies supporting the sale of goods and services and trade financing transactions. In addition, Fred also assists clients on general corporate matters including the review, drafting and negotiating of claims cooperation agreements, agency and broker agreements, factoring contracts, contracts for the sale/purchase of goods or services, employment contracts and separation agreements, joint venture agreements, non-disclosure agreements and corporate governance and compliance policies.
