For more than three decades, Dirk Ehlers has handled insurance-related matters, focusing primarily on the resolution of coverage disputes on behalf of insurers, through a combination of direct negotiation, mediation and litigation. His breadth of industry experience includes handling coverage issues involving specialty lines of insurance, such as D&O/management liability, professional liability, financial institution/commercial crime bonds, cyber and technology liability, and mortgage impairment products.

In addition, Dirk's extensive industry portfolio includes matters arising under property/casualty lines - commercial general liability, transportation liability and marine liability and excess/umbrella insurance. He has also defended banks, brokers, and developers in connection with general commercial disputes.
